Ugly Love Tuesday

It's time for some Ugly Love.

Vintage, that is:

A very nauseating lamp.

With a what I think is a roadrunner.

Meep. Meep.

Wile E. Coyote should have this lamp.

It would look fantastic on his anvil nightstand.

Next to his Acme harpoon gun.

Maybe every Tuesday should be Ugly Love Tuesday.

But that would stress me out.

I'd have a deadline.

Every Tuesday.

And what if I didn't find something?

Plus it would be so predictable.

Wouldn't it be more fun to be surprised by the occasional dose of Ugly Love?

Meep. Meep.

    ...and you did not disappoint.

I admire your nerve in buying these vintage uglies!

  2. Meep. Meep. Great post!

What did this vintage ugly set you back? What are your plans for it?? You couldn't possibly of bought it just to feature here, did you??? If so, I appreciate that.

You do have nerve or balls!

  3. Yep, I bought it strictly to blog about it. It was worth the $3. I should just bring my camera with, but I prefer to highlight the ugliness with a good photo. Then I usually just re-donate in hopes that it will find the proper home. But in this case, I had to toss it as I tripped over it and it busted. The scary thing is I thought briefly about cutting off and keeping the bird for that "special project".

  5. Sometimes a particular room needs a bit of quirk or a touch of ugly to make it work, but I think I'd have trouble finding a use for the roadrunner lamp. Would have made a great prop in photoshoot though :)
